"Ruth has supported us since 2016, contributing to the efficient running of our operations and helping us provide free, nutritious food to local people living in food poverty.

Ruth has played a key role by managing our beneficiaries' database, including issuing invitations, allocating food collection slots, and producing weekly statistics. This work has also supported the reporting needs of the Operations Manager, Board of Trustees, and funding bodies. She is currently sourcing a new database system to further streamline and enhance our operations.

In addition to her administrative skills, she also volunteers every Saturday, coordinating the efforts of 3–12 volunteers and managing the collection process for 30–85 beneficiaries collecting food on a weekly basis. Ruth has developed the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Saturday operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in service delivery.

Additionally, Ruth has contributed to fundraising projects, sourced supplies for operational efficiency, and provided ad hoc assistance to the Operations Manager whenever needed. She has also occasionally supported social media activities by taking photos, videos, and managing postings to promote our work. 

Her support has been integral to our operations and our ongoing work. She embodies the spirit of service that drives our charity".
